PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Physical properties:
As a metal, titanium is recognized for its high strength to weight ratio.11 It is a strong metal with low density that is quite ductile (especially in an oxygen-free environment),
They are non to be lustrous, and metallic-white in color.
The have relatively high melting point (more than 1,650 °C or 3,000 °F) makes it useful as a refractory-metal.
It is paramagnetic and has fairly low electrical and thermal conductivity.[6]
Mechanical Properties:
it is non-magnetic and a poor conductor of heat and electricity.
Machining requires precautions, because the material can gall unless sharp tools and proper cooling methods are used.
Chemical Properties:
Atmospheric passivation gives titanium excellent resistance to corrosion, almost equivalent to platinum.
Titanium is capable of withstanding attack by dilute sulfuric and hydrochloric acids, chloride solutions, and most organic acids.
However, titanium is corroded by concentrated acids.
Application:
Titanium is absolutely immune to environmental attack, regardless of pollutants. – Facades & cladding
Where other architectural metals exhibit limited lifespan, titanium endures.
It withstands urban pollution and marine environments – Ship Building or Sea Side application,
It withstands the sulphur compounds of industrial areas and is failure-proof in even more aggressive environments. – Chemical Industries
Because it is the most noble metal, the coupling of titanium with dissimilar metals does not accelerate galvanic corrosion of the titanium. – High Corrosion resistance
